SUPERVISORY DUTIES: No
The Sales Representative will be responsible for growing business by recommending the best print and digital packages to commercial and private party customers in a call center environment. The print and digital packages will be based on the customers needs and designed to get results. These advertising packages will include various print and online offerings.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Associates Degree, BA/BS from an accredited four year college/university, preferred
Previous customer service and outbound/inbound call center experience is required
Previous sales experience a plus
Solid foundation in print and digital media
Proven success of increasing sales in a competitive marketplace
Strong team player
Assertive, goal-oriented and self-motivated
Ability to multi-task, handle pressure and work under deadlines
Detailed oriented with excellent telephone and spelling skills
Solid typing and PC skills including proficiency with MS Word, Power Point & Excel
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proactively identify new business opportunities through cold calling and referrals.
Exceed established revenue goals.
Comfortable with assumptive selling techniques and able to renew and up-sell customers.
Serve as a marketing consultant by providing industry insights.
Build relationships with excellent customer service skills.
The ability to maintain high work output; set high standards of performance for self; sees assignments through to completion

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
General office environment. Extensive computer use required. Light travel may be required
