KPAX-TV has an opening for a Master Control Operator at its facility in Missoula, Montana. Missoula is located in western Montana along the Clark Fork River and is home to the University of Montana. We are looking for an individual who is dependable, can work flexible hours, and can work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: The Master Control Operator is responsible for: Recording (ingest) and playback of network and syndicated programs. Entering content and commercials into playback servers. Loading and editing server playlists. Monitoring air signal, audio levels, closed captioning, etc. Inserting crawls and bugs over programming. Switching during live news broadcasts.
