REQUISITION ID req1684 POSTING DATE 5/4/2017 JOB TITLE LOCATION Miami, FL BUSINESS UNIT Corporate JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY: Sports Programming Coordinator works with the Sports Programming team to execute the on-air programming plan for Univision Deportes Network (UDN) as well as for UDN properties on other UCI networks. Provide all shows and programs with a proper house number and communicate UDN grids to all relevant departments Uses Title Registry to assign house numbers to all programming in UDN grids Inputs and updates house numbers within Wide Orbit traffic system Works with rest of Programming team to identify opportunities for current and future programming events. Prepares specific reports and other documents to efficiently and accurately communicate programming schedules and general updates to Univision staff Communicate any changes to programming and coordinate plan of action with Production Creates programming grids in Rights Logic (RSG) Update and maintain discrepancy report database for Senior Management Update and create record list for editing purposes MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education Bachelorís Degree in Communications, Sports Management or related field Candidates currently working towards a degree will be considered Experience & Skills Excellent knowledge of current sports events and must demonstrate a passion for sports Familiarity with Liga MX and other UDN properties Knowledge of Nielsen audience rating system preferred Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Flexible during times of change. Strategic planner who can anticipate needs Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments Strong interpersonal and operational skill sets with high level of attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial Tenacious, driven, energetic and a high degree of professional integrity. Software Proficiency in Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Proficiency in Rights Logic (RSG) and Title Registry Familiarity with Wide Orbit traffic system Language Bilingual English/Spanish; excellent verbal and written capability in the Spanish language required
