WMBF News, Raycom Media's NBC affiliate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is looking for a journalist to produce and Anchor on the weekends and report during the week. The right candidate will be a newsroom leader with excellent news judgement and strong broadcast writing skills. A competitive news junkie with a passion for digital content and social media will thrive in this position. The weekend anchor/producer will also report three days a week, so the ability to enterprise stories, cover breaking news, and creatively shoot and edit are all important as well. WMBF News lives its “Live, Local, Late Breaking” brand, and the right person should embrace that hard news mentality. Anchoring and producing experience preferred.
