JOB TITLE: Account Executive SCHEDULE: Minimum Monday-Friday; 8:30 AM-5:30 PM WOIO –WUAB in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a performance-driven Broadcast Media & Digital Account Executive to selling advertising on WOIO –TV, WUAB –TV, Bounce TV, ME TV, 19actionnew.com, 19ToGo mobile platform and its affiliated properties. Must be able to increase client base, develop profitable long-term relationships and achieve sales goals. Candidates should have a strong understanding of broadcast sales, web marketing and Internet media. A passion for marketing major sports (Browns, AFC, NCAA Tournament) and sales promotions at the client level a must. Must be quick thinking, detail oriented, proactive, self-motivated and eager to work with a strong team. Position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, sales presentation abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Pay plan is 100% commission sales with temporary guarantee. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: Minimum of 1-2 years sales experience in either digital or broadcast media sales is required. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: 1.) Create and sell digital & broadcast media solutions to direct accounts, advertising agencies, and their clients 2.) Assist clients with creative ideas for marketing products through broadcast and digital platforms. 3.) Responsible for face-to-face, telephone and written communication with clients. 4.) Responsible for achieving monthly local sales budgets. 5.) Responsible for developing new business for both broadcast and digital goals. 6.) Prepare avails, and participate in rating book and research analysis, and presents such, as needed, to clients. 7.) Additional duties as assigned by the Local Sales Manager or General Sales Manager.
