WGN is looking for an Executive Producer to lead a new weekly comedic news/entertainment show. The successful candidate will have solid judgment, comic creativity, and a demonstrated ability to craft unique segments. The EP must work well as part of a team, serve as the leader across multiple platforms, and excel as a show runner. Responsibilities include: executing and producing a weekly show, overseeing a weekly digital web series and weekly podcast, and contributing to all social networks for the show. Must be a comic genius – or close to it, and MUST HAVE experience producing non-news content. Strong writing, organizational, and people skills are vital. Top 20 market experience required. Previous producing experience mandatory. Will be working in a non-linear environment, so familiarity and experience with digital technology and editing is required. Equal Opportunity Employer |
