JOB TITLE: MARKETING BROADCAST & DIGITAL PRODUCER SCHEDULE: Various WOIO/WUAB TV in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Marketing and Digital Writer / Producer to help expand its rapidly-growing broadcast and digital media presence in one of the country’s biggest markets. The ideal candidate will be quick-thinking, creative and multi-talented with the ability to produce promotional spots and social media posts that engage and produce results. Job Description: 1. Primary duties include producing marketing content for our broadcast and mobile platforms, website, social media, as well as on-air. 2. The ideal candidate will have the skills to create research driven topical news promotion; 3. Edit and post text and video while updating social media accounts; 4. Work on station and corporate initiatives; 5. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 1. The Broadcast & Digital Writer / Producer must have knowledge of commonly used broadcast journalism practices and be able to clearly communicate ideas. 2. Must be able to work effectively under extreme deadline pressure. 3. Knowledge of video editing, as well as all applicable Social Media, Digital, and Mobile software a plus.
