KTIV, the dominant NBC affiliate serving Northwestern Iowa, has a rare opening for a main evening anchor. Applicants should be an accomplished television journalist first and foremost, with significant experience anchoring and producing great, memorable stories that connect with viewers. We're looking for a competitive communicator with polished live ad lib skills and a burning desire to win. The person we select will be someone who wants to make a long-term commitment to this community. Our next anchor will be someone who not only loves news, but also relishes representing the station at community events. In addition to writing, anchoring and producing content for our web and social platforms, you'll be a newsroom leader who leads by example through newsroom editorial skills and anchoring excellence. KTIV is located along the Missouri River, an award winning region for business growth, education, tech and raising a family. The station serves a large DMA which includes the tri-state area of Northwest Iowa, Southeast South Dakota and Northeast Nebraska.
