REQUISITION ID req1905 LOCATION Miami, FL BUSINESS UNIT Network JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: Univision is looking for a talented professional who can design and execute specialized animations/projects in accordance with creative direction established by the Director and UCI guidelines. This role will be responsible for all aspects of animation from concept and execution. It will additionally have artistic responsibilities which include assisting others in making design decisions and maintaining graphics standards. Editing video to take back to graphics and enhancing the look and feel. Responsibilities: Responsible for the implementation and creation of graphic and animated elements for Sports, designing concept for tent pole events, big tournaments, and enhancing the look of our editing with text and animations. Effectively communicate concepts and ideas to the Director and production team. Maintaining a smooth operation of the animation system and software. Suggesting and implementing procedures that improve production. Editing pieces in Avid and transfer to graphics for finishing touches. Recommends future equipment purchases. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience & Qualifications: Education Graphics Design Degree preferred or equivalent work experience Experience & Skills 5+ years of experience as a Graphic designer/Animator Prior work experience in Broadcast (Preferred) Strong knowledge of current sporting events, and a passion for sports Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Ability to assist, lead when needed and collaborate in teams or individually. Excellent organizational and communication skills Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends Software Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (Required) After Effects (Required) Cinema 4D or 3D (Proficient) Proficient in MAC and PC. AVID Language Fluent or native Spanish language proficiency required (both spoken and written) English language proficiency preferred Objectives: A. Percentage of graphics defective/rejected by clients (e.g. producers) B.
