Category: Promotions Position/Title: Multimedia Social Marketing Producer Details: The Multimedia Social Marketing Producer is responsible for production of stations’ marketing messages for social, digital and on air promos in Creative Services. Must be highly creative, multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position motivates online users to seek out our news and programming and to engage users to visit the station Facebook and website through station promotion. The MSMP must own and maintain active Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat accounts, at minimum. You will work both with and without supervision of a manager to implement eye catching digital creative. Essential Job Functions: 45% Conceptualize, write, shoot and edit social media and digital messages to drive social users to the television station. Ability to create captivating graphics to enhance the message. Be an active participant in the collaborative and effective work environment among all station departments. Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment from proposal to execution. Create a social media strategy to maximize engagement and draw social users to our news to increase ratings. 10% Conceptualize, write, produce and edit on air promos, including daily news topical, station and news image spots as needed 15% Responsible for maintaining and managing social media footage library, stills and graphics for use in social media and digital applications. 15% Be able to learn from metrics and adapt the strategy accordingly. Keep track of posts, engagement ads and TSR analytics on a daily basis to determine success level. 10% Working knowledge of Meredith rules for licensing of pictures, graphics & music use. 5% other duties as assigned Vacancy Type: Full Time Date Posted: 9/1/2017 Closing Date: 10/1/2017 City: Nashville - 37067 State: Tennessee Experience: Three or more years’ experience as a Multimedia Producer writing, producing, shooting and editing advertising content, promotional spots, image campaigns and/or branded content for television, cable, digital and/or advertising agency or in a related industry. Requirements: Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite, word, excel and PowerPoint, Photoshop & Aftereffects. Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills. Ability to multi-task and handle pressure. Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to problem solve and work independently. Must have strong decision making skills –often on the spot. Must be results orientated and meet tight deadlines. Must be experienced with all aspects of social media.
