WDAF-TV/FOX 4 is looking for a Web Content Producer with a passion for breaking news, factual and thorough storytelling, social media, new technology and new tools for digital and mobile story-telling. Experience: Minimum Knowledge Skills & Abilities: Experience writing using AP style Familiar with managing Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat and Instagram for business Image and video editing skills (Photoshop & Final Cut Pro) Basic knowledge of HTML Experience using WordPress or a comparable CMS Understanding of Google Analytics, RSS, FTP, SEO, Etc. Valid driver's license Education Requirements: Four year college degree preferred Related experience working in a newsroom Requirements: Writing news, creating professional and engaging posts and videos for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Pinterest and other social media accounts on behalf of the station, interacting with viewers/users, following trending stories, working with reporters, producers, news managers and on occasion, the sales department. The position requires a high volume of writing, intense multi-tasking, and the ability to learn new techniques and tools due to the frequent release of new and upgraded technology.
