WMBF News, Raycom Media's NBC affiliate in sunny Myrtle Beach, SC, is looking for an experienced full-time multi-platform news producer, as comfortable giving cues in the booth as crafting a call-to-action push alert on a mobile app. The ideal candidate will be a creative, detail-oriented news junkie with experience producing fast-paced, hard-hitting newscasts and/or compelling digital content. Solid news judgement, excellent broadcast writing skills, knowledge of AP style and the ability to perform well under pressure are all necessary to thrive in this position. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and a talent for wearing multiple hats in the newsroom. WMBF News lives and breathes its “Live, Local, Late-Breaking” brand, and the right person should be a team player who embraces that hard news mentality.
