WMBF News, Raycom Media's television station in sunny Myrtle Beach, SC, is looking for a weekend anchor who can produce her or his own hour of news for our successful weekend morning show. The right candidate will be a newsroom leader with excellent news judgement and strong broadcast writing skills. A competitive news junkie with a passion for digital content and social media will thrive in this position. The weekend anchor will also report three days a week, so the ability to enterprise stories, cover breaking news, and creatively shoot and edit are all important as well. WMBF News lives its “Live, Local, Late Breaking” brand, and the right person should embrace that hard news mentality. Anchoring experience preferred.
