If you are a capable, organized, and independent Television MMJ, the dominant television operation in Western Montana has a rare opportunity for you. KPAX-TV is looking for an MMJ in beautiful and bustling Missoula, Montana. The ideal candidate can capably report and produce engaging information for our TV Newscasts and our online and social media initiatives. You must understand and incorporate social media material into your workflow on every front - from reporting to producing to promoting in real time. As well as a breathtaking environment in which to work, this region is abundant with skiing, hiking, camping and nearly every other outdoor activity you can imagine for your spare time. We're looking for a team player who can edit video and meet all deadlines with a minimum of supervision. Ability to work under tight deadlines on a flexible schedule that includes some weekends and evenings is a must. Education Required: A Bachelor`s Degree in Broadcast Journalism or equivalent is required Experience Required: Two years of television broadcasting experience is preferred, but not required. Other Requirements: A valid driver’s license will be required, along with a clean driving record and the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds of equipment.
