The University of Alabama, on behalf of the Center for Public Television and Radio and WVUA-TV, seeks applications from dynamic individuals for the position of Broadcast Engineering Tech, headquartered in the University’s Digital Media Center. Housed within Bryant Denny Stadium, the DMC is the home for the University’s professional media assets and a state-of-the-art, hands-on laboratory for students. Comprised of Alabama Public Radio, the Center for Public Television, and WVUA-TV, the DMC engages faculty, staff and students in the production of award-winning, multi-media programming designed to inspire, educate, and inform Alabamians. This position provides maintenance and technical support of the broadcast and IT infrastructure at the Center for Public Television and Radio (CPTR) facilities including documentary production and post-production, the television station, WVUA and Alabama Public Radio network. .
