If you are a capable, organized, and enterprising Sports anchor/MMJ, the dominant television operation in Western Montana has a rare opportunity for you. KPAX-TV/KAJ-TV is looking for a weekend Sports Anchor/ MMJ in beautiful and bustling Missoula, Montana. The ideal candidate can capably report creative and interesting sports stories during the week, as well as anchoring and producing the weekend sportscasts. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a deep understanding of mobile and social media with a digital first approach to all the information we convey. A breathtaking environment in which to work, this region is abundant with skiing, hiking, camping and nearly every other outdoor activity you can imagine for your spare time. We're looking for a team player who can edit video and meet all deadlines with a minimum of supervision. Ability to work under tight deadlines on a flexible schedule is a must. A Bachelor`s Degree in Broadcast Journalism or equivalent is required. Two years of television broadcasting experience is preferred, but not required. A valid driver`s license is required.
