Post House Creative is looking for a talented Assistant Editor/Motion Graphics Designer with 1-3 years experience in editing and motion graphics post-production. You’ll be working with our team on client projects, as well as managing internal and external marketing efforts for PHC. This is a 6 month contract position, with an option to extend to a full year. This is the perfect role for someone looking to get their start in the industry and build a reel with quality client work. Direct experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and solid storytelling experience are preferred. A passion for post production and a strong artistic eye are imperative. Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team during the creative process. What will you be doing exactly? Work closely with Senior Designer and Producers to create compelling content for PHC clientele Prep/assist on project edit/motion graphic projects Creating sizzle reels after production for client review Project data management and delivery to clients and TV stations Creating marketing materials for PHC - where you can let your imagination run wild Ability to gain on-location production experience What will get you in the door? Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a post-production environment (either paid or unpaid) Premiere, Final Cut, Avid and/or other NLE experience Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and/or other motion graphics software A positive, problem-solving attitude AND It would be extra awesome if you had... A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field A strong understanding of new media and technologies Experience managing video/graphic assets Graphics/post-production experience at a TV station or post-production company Here's what you'll LOVE about US...
