KRQE Media Group is
seeking a Sales Assistant with a specialty in marketing and
event management to provide administrative and sales support for our sales
department in Albuquerque, NM. This position will enhance the
productivity of the sales department by assisting sales management and account
executives. This position reports to the KRQE General Sales
sales assistant works within established sales department guidelines to
maximize station revenue opportunities with a focus on the marketing,
execution, and proof of performance of omni-screen marketing campaigns. This
position is also responsible for assisting in maintaining current inventory in
our avails program, tracking specials and program changes, and monitoring
posting and fulfillment of campaigns. Other duties assigned to this position
may include, but are not limited to:
with the research director and sales management to create robust presentations
and other collateral.
Organizes and executes event planning for special sales events and sales
Researches non-traditional advertisers for community involvement and specialty
retail programs across multiple networks and digital platforms.
Acquires proficiency on all research and sales process software.
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Strong Microsoft Office skills with a focus on PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Excellent people skills with the ability to navigate variety of personalities.
