Position:TV Newscast Director/Producer
Person needed to direct/technical direct multi-camera, fast-paced, graphic intense, live newscasts for the number one station the Raleigh-Durham market. Will also direct and produce special projects when needed. This individual will partner with outside clients to complete projects that require technical management and oversight of technical staff. Directors also serve as matrix supervisors when department managers are not present or during off-peak shifts.
Five years of directing experience is preferred. Technical knowledge of production switchers and news operating system necessary to produce fast-paced newscasts. The successful candidate must have critical thinking skills to solve problems as they arise and offer remedies to technical conflicts. Must be flexible with professional schedule to manage content not scheduled. Must be a leader in the work place at all times.
