News Producer KFVS, Cape Girardeau, Missouri is looking for a Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative, energetic, well-rounded producer, who knows how to showcase great content and great personalities. Strong skills in posting to the web, working with social media, and gathering of user generated content are important. Responsible for coordinating story content/production through discussions with news managers, anchors and reporters. Previous newscast producing experience preferred. The ability to plan, execute, and communicate well with the rest of the team is imperative. You must be able to collaborate on projects and take input and ideas from concept to air, sometimes with months to plan, other times with seconds to decide. KFVS lives the Live.Local.Now brand and your mission is create a newscast that showcases impact and urgency within that brand.
