Vacancy Type: Full Time Date Posted: 5/21/2018 Closing Date: 6/21/2018 City: Nashville State: Tennessee URL: http://www.fox17.com Experience: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Gathering news that is affecting the community Preparing story items for presentations in the newscasts Assisting in the efficient operation of the assignment desk Requirements: Required skills and qualifications include, but are not limited to: A minimum of one (1) year of assignment desk experience Commitment to journalistic standards of ethics and accuracy The ability to communicate effectively Basic computer knowledge is a must General knowledge and interest in local, national, and world news The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Proficiency with Facebook, Twitter, and emerging social media platforms A bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field This position is full-time and will require working a flexible schedule that includes nights and holidays.
