Position: Operations Manager-MusicTown Company: Entercom Station(s): WDZH-FM, WOMC-FM, WYCD-FM Job Type: fulltime Hours: Compensation: / year Job Description: Seeking a high energy, outgoing self-starter to manage MusicTown in Detroit. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Maintain broadcast, recording and production studios and performance space. Work with Olympia Entertainment and Hockeytown to execute events and performances. Work with sales force and client sponsors to execute all aspects of proposed and existing sponsorships. Maintain website, social media and event calendars. Other duties as assigned or as opportunities arise. Flexible work hours - must be able to adjust work schedule to coincide with events/needs of MusicTown. Benefits: Education Required: Bachelor degree with at least 4 years experience working in social media and websites. Preferrred: Event planning experience is desirable. Experience Required: Other Requirements: Required: Expert in social media and web marketing, experience with managing/coordinating events, possesses excellent knowledge of various genres of music both locally and nationally. Must have excellent writing skills, be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. General video and recording equipment knowledge are necessary.
