WMBF News, NBC station in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is in search of a dynamic social media producer and digital storyteller to join our fast-paced newsroom. The right candidate will be as adept at AP Style as Instagram, and as comfortable engaging a crowd during a Facebook Live as making calls to confirm breaking news. This Digital Content Producer will be responsible for writing web stories, sending out push alerts, crafting dynamic social media posts on various platforms, monitoring scanners, contacting PIOs for information, finding new stories on social media, communicating with producers, reporters and managers, and ensuring that only properly-sourced and grammatically-correct content is published online.
