WGN is looking for a news producer for the WGN Morning News! A successful candidate will have solid news judgment and a demonstrated ability to craft a creative rundown. We need someone who knows how to work as part of a team to create a unique daily news broadcast. Candidate must know Chicago news and politics, be aggressive in breaking news and severe weather situations and have a successful formula of intermixing social media and a television newscast. Strong writing, organizational, and people skills are vital. Top 20 market experience required. Three to five years producing experience mandatory.
