WGN is looking for a news producer for the WGN Midday News. The successful candidate will have solid news judgment and a demonstrated ability to craft a creative rundown. The producer must work well as part of a team. Candidate must know Chicago news and politics, be aggressive in breaking news and severe weather situations and have a successful formula of intermixing social media and a television newscast. Strong writing, organizational, and people skills are vital. Top 20 market experience required. Three to five years producing experience mandatory.
