Job Title Capture Editor Job Description I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives. The Capture/Editor Operator at Arizona’s Family CBS 5 & 3 TV (Meredith Corp.) operates in Capture where feeds are recorded from sources including satellites, microwave feeds, and Live-U feeds, and operates in Live Control where the feeds from a variety of sources are coordinated, communicates with field and producer crews. II. Essential Job Functions Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results 75% Co-ordinates and records feeds in Capture/Live Control environment. 15% Edits material for broadcast on AVID Media Composer 10% Processes documentation and digital images for import to Meredith Archive Library 100% III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered. Education: High School or equivalent. Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Experience: One year full time experience as a Capture/Editor Operator or work experience in Broadcast News. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: AVID preferred. Non-linear required.
