The ideal candidate demonstrates solid news judgment and storytelling abilities, with a passion for delivering original, imaginative content every day.
You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including, live TV, internet, social networking sites and mobile.
-Identifying the dayís most important stories and sourcing materials relevant to your audience
-Researching, writing and editing daily content for television and web platforms
-Working with management and staff to generate stories and content
-Meeting daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Write, shoot, edit and present compelling content both on-air and online.
-Experience with live shots and breaking news coverage - mandatory.
-Ability to operate TVU and/or Dejero preferred.
-Social media and web skills essential.
-Candidates should also exhibit a good work ethic, strong people skills.
-Ability to be a team player and must maintain a professional attitude at all times.
-At least two years of experience in a TV newsroom.
-College degree in broadcast journalism or a related field is preferred.
-Experience with ENPS or non-linear editing software is a big plus.
-Must possess and maintain a valid driverís license in good standing.
-Must have a reliable source of transportation and be flexible on hours.

-Bachelorís degree in broadcast journalism or a similar degree
-Highly developed public speaking and interpersonal skills
-Essential 3 years professional experience
-Extensive experience in commercial TV news
-Professional, consistent on-air appearance
-Advanced ability in critical thinking
-Understands social media and the importance of engaging viewers
-Quick and effective decision-making skills
-Comfortable with live ad-libbing
-Ability to perform under various degrees of pressure and ability to switch gear quickly
