WMBF News, the NBC affiliate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is searching for an anchor and reporter who is as comfortable pitching enterprise story ideas as she or he is smoothly anchoring breaking news. The right person for this position will have a passion for storytelling, a desire to be part of the local community, a talent for multi-tasking, a positive attitude with a can-do approach, and the ability to engage with our local news audience in person, on air and on all social media platforms. On a daily basis, this anchor/reporter will turn local content and anchor newscasts. Shooting, writing and editing are an essential skillset for this position, and the best candidate will have both authority and charisma on the anchor desk daily.
