WDAY-TV, the number #1 News station in Fargo, North Dakota is looking for a full-time Anchor/Producer/Reporter. WDAY is an Emmy award-winning, locally owned and operated station that covers eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. We produce more than 30 hours of local news each week. We have a staff of over 30 journalists working in news, weather, and sports. All of our news and sports employees have their own edit stations. Our newsroom was recently remodeled and includes spacious new work desks for each employee, a makeup room with individualized spaces for personal supplies, gear room, meeting spaces and a hangout area complete with couches and televisions. The WDAY building is just blocks away from downtown Fargo. Fargo is the largest city in North Dakota and borders Moorhead, Minnesota. The metro population is over 240,000, including the cities of Fargo and West Fargo in North Dakota and Moorhead and Dilworth in Minnesota. Fargo has a vibrant downtown with many activities and events geared toward young professionals. The community hosts many major concerts, sporting, and community events throughout the year.
