WDAY, the number #1 News station in Fargo, North Dakota is looking for a Reporter/Multi-Media Journalist to work in our multi-platform newsroom. As a Reporter/MMJ you will be responsible for writing news stories for TV, social media, and our digital products. You will also shoot video, edit video, and conduct interviews. The successful candidate will have exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills as well as a clean driving record, be organized and work well under pressure. A college degree in journalism or a related field is required. WDAY is an Emmy award-winning, locally owned and operated station that covers eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. We produce more than 30 hours of local news each week. We have a staff of over 30 journalists working in news, weather, and sports. Our newsroom was recently remodeled and includes spacious new work desks for each employee, a makeup room with individualized spaces for personal supplies, gear room, meeting spaces and a hangout area complete with couches and televisions. The WDAY building is just blocks away from downtown Fargo. Fargo is the largest city in North Dakota and borders Moorhead, Minnesota. The metro population is over 240,000, including the cities of Fargo and West Fargo in North Dakota and Moorhead and Dilworth in Minnesota.
