WGCL-TV, a Meredith station has an opening for a video editor. The Video Editor edits for regularly scheduled newscasts and special projects and performs related job duties including archiving and back-up content. Experience: Minimum of 3 years editing experience in a local news environment, preferably in top 50 DMA. Previous editing experience in a production house environment may substitute for one year of news editing experience. Requirements: Education: Completion of high school, or equivalent. College degree preferred. Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Knowledge of current state-of-the-art editing equipment. • Experience with Avid Newscutter preferred. • Shooting experience preferred. • Good attention to detail.
