Traffic Copy Assistant (Full-Time, Regular) WJBK's Traffic Department is seeking an individual for an immediate opportunity as a Traffic Copy Assistant. Individual will be responsible for maintaining commercial files, contacting ad agencies and gathering materials for production. This includes preparation of File Transfer Protocol downloads and entry of commercial instructions in the Wide Orbit System and overall accuracy of commercial spot rotations. Individual works closely with account executives, Creative Services editors, and MCR operators to ensure delivery of on air spots. Maintains related reports and files. May also serve as backup to Log Editor. Other duties as deemed appropriate to be assigned. Prior experience in Traffic preferred. Experience with Wide Orbit or other Traffic system a plus. Requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast paced environment is essential. Able to work overtime when necessary. High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. Job Code: 6680 |
