The Programming Service for Public Television is looking for someone to manage the daily activities of their office in Tampa, Florida. The position requires heavy phone contact, superior customer service, basic accounting and clerical skills and a desire to be trained to move forward in the company. Office Management • Reconcile accounts payable/receivables with Accountant by monitoring incoming & outgoing payments. • Collate materials for annual audits and Board reports • Assist in planning the annual Board Meeting • Coordinate flights, registration & accommodations for all staff-related travel • Track and maintain staff vacation and sick time and prepare and distribute bi-monthly time sheets • Assist remote Programming Service staff • Order office supplies • Assist in planning two annual staff retreats Customer Service • Create national portion of FCC Quarterly Reports for all required clients • Provide Carriage Information to clients and to other Public Television entities on behalf of our clients • Manage the renewal paperwork for client contracts and maintain the schedule of expiration dates and renewals • Provide PR assistance with individual client stations Clerical Duties • Maintain Client contact lists • Update all Client data and reporting as they are received • Provide clerical assistance to President & CEO as required • Learn to prepare client grids for scheduling Other Duties as assigned. Qualifications: College preferred, or combination of HS and work experience Proficient with MS Word & Excel Requires strong internet research & software skills Ability to multi-task & meet deadlines Excellent communication skills Must be dependable and self-motivated Ability to work as part of a team Provide superior customer service
