CBS46, a Meredith Station is searching a Digital Sales Assistant. The Digital Sales Assistant is responsible for assisting sales management with developing cross-platform marketing initiatives for sales management and account executives to drive revenue and build/maintain the quality of the station brand. The incumbent works with management, sales and corporate staff on multi-platform business processes, including targeting/prospecting, research, concept and creative proposal development for use by the sales force. In addition, the Digital Sales Assistant may develop and organize Cornerstone/Opportunity advertising revenue sponsored elements, power point presentations and executables for the sales force.
Essential Job Functions
40% Coordinates with World Now or other digital provider for developing web ads and placement.
40% Develops presentations and proposals for sales staff.
20% Assist in local and national sales efforts.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education: Completion of high school or equivalent. Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience preferred.
Experience: Prior Broadcast TV, Digital or marketing experience preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with a focus on PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of marketing concepts.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good organization and research skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
