WGN-TV is currently seeking a Backstory documentary producer intern for the Fall term. Responsibilities This internship is designed for a student who is interested in a news position, specifically documentary producing. Duties include, but are not limited to: researching story ideas, lining up interviews, logging interviews, greeting guests, escorting guests to and from studios, researching and locating archive video. Interns will communicate closely with Larry Potash and show producers. Mature and professional conduct expected. Qualifications – Must be 18 or older and a registered student in good standing at an accredited college or university. – Must be able to work the hours required by department. – Students can receive university or college credit for participating in this program but needs to handle paperwork involved. Internships pays City of Chicago minimum wage.
