JOB SUMMARY WMBF News is looking for an experienced Reporter/MMJ to join our news team. The right candidate will be an energetic news junkie with a passion for enterprise reporting, breaking news, and storytelling. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Desirable qualities for our next MMJ include: -Strong broadcast writing -Compelling storytelling skills -Creative shooting and editing abilities -Attention to detail -Grace under pressure -Journalistic integrity Duties include: -Developing sources -Pitching enterprise story ideas -Shooting and editing video -Writing pkg and vosot scripts -Fronting content live in the field or in studio -Maintaining professional presence on social media -Creating compelling digital content -Being an ambassador for the station Requirements Minimum one year reporting for television news preferred.
