WDAY Television, #1 rated station in Fargo, North Dakota is looking for an energetic, self-starting sports anchor. You will anchor our sportscast Monday thru Friday at 6 pm and 10 pm and be part of our ½ hour weekly sports show. You will be responsible for gathering and reporting sports news for television, radio and online. A successful candidate must be creative, hardworking, a self-starter and a team player. You will shoot and edit your own stories. Job duties will range from anchoring newscasts, to live play-by-play opportunities for high school sports. WDAY produces over 50 live high school games a year, and we broadcast the North Dakota state high school tournaments. WDAY also covers the North Dakota State University Bison and the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks. The preferred candidate will have at least one year of anchoring sports, exceptional communication skills, able to work under deadline pressure and great organizational skills.
