Category: Media • Journalism • Newspaper Position/Title: Sports Intern Details: WJW is seeking a highly motivated intern to assist with the planning and production of our award-winning scholastic sports program, “Friday Night Touchdown” for the upcoming fall season. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, specifically football and an excellent knowledge of social media, including Twitter, WordPress and Microsoft Office. The sports intern will work with the show Producer on Fridays, Saturdays and some weekdays during the high school football season to compile game scores, highlights and other pertinent information, to organize and share with our viewers and followers in a clear, concise and informative manner.
