WXOW & WQOW, the ABC, CW and Decades affiliates in the La Crosse-Eau Claire, WI markets are looking for an energetic, creative manager to lead our marketing efforts. The Leader. The Visionary. The one who turns concept to creation. You are the television Marketing Director. You wear many hats, and they all must fit right. Versatility, diplomacy and most importantly, creativity. Your wheelhouse is large, and when you swing, it’s for the fences. And when you’re the Marketing Director of one of the most recognized storied and award-winning stations, you can add tenacity and ferocity to that list. If you’re one of those people that dresses the part because you should and knows when to operate inside and outside the box, but still at the end of the day is distinctly you, then we need to talk. The Marketing Director is the Brand Manager for our multi-platform product offerings. Your creative mind guides a highly creative team dedicated to making our station continue to stand out from the rest and continue to be the leader when it comes to brand identity, consistency and quality. From concept to post, this is your opportunity to work with a talented group of people to tackle the daily writing, shooting, editing and graphic design challenges of marketing our network content for television, web, and mobile. Most importantly, you are responsible for marketing the award-winning news, weather and sports content across these same platforms. The Marketing Director also is the face of the station when dealing with the many non-profit and community groups WXOW & WQOW are active with. Assisting those organizations that align with our goals in making sure the station is well represented as we help them achieve their goals in strengthening our community. Knowledge of non-linear editing (Adobe CS), videography and strong writing and editing skills necessary. Previous TV and/or marketing experience is preferred.
