This journalist will report on the under-served eastern third of our state by producing in depth stories for our on-air and digital platforms. Unlike the booming metropolitan areas of the state, Eastern North Carolina is often overlooked, and its complex economic, agricultural and environmental issues deserve more coverage. This MMJ should have television, newspaper or digital journalism experience, or in-depth expertise with the issues described above, as well as being an excellent writer and having a passion for investigation, advocacy and storytelling. Requirements of the position include shooting and editing video, writing for television and digital platforms, and being active on social media and in the community.
