In addition, the Department is charged with promoting safe and responsible use of watercraft and off- highway vehicles. JOB INFORMATION The agency is seeking a videographer editor who is creative and has a strong aesthetic eye and a collaborative spirit. Duties include: creating and developing long and short content for broadcast and social media that is compelling and tells the department’s story. In addition, as a member of the Marketing Branch, this position will be delivering impactful integrated marketing assets for campaigns and promotional opportunities. Major duties include: Carrying projects through from conception to distribution using creative vision, storytelling and technical mastery over all aspects of production — including planning, scripting, shooting video, directing and editing — exceptional personal skills and the ability to connect with internal clients. Creating new and engaging video content designed to succeed on site, social and across partners, as well as adapt to emerging platforms and opportunities. Assisting in the operation and presentation of Game and Fish live and recorded webcasts in house and in the field; produce, script, film, direct and edit internal training and educational and informational videos; and run AV for award ceremonies. Performs other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The candidate must have knowledge of: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, video production techniques, principal of video photography and lighting, graphics and composition, Google Suite, lean principles and practices, Arizona wildlife species and habitats, Arizona geography and ecology and copyright and communication laws. Candidates must have exceptional organizational skills, able to manage many projects moving along at different deadline speeds, troubleshooting audio visual equipment problems, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, interviewing skills, scripting, videography (field and studio), editing, directing, coaching, lighting, audio production, and skilled in special effects and graphics. Candidates must have critical thinking and innovation skills, strong written and verbal communication and strong customer service attitude and skills. Candidate must be adept at using video, audio and voice-over narration to tell a story, visualize concepts that translate into effective video storytelling, clearly articulate ideas through concise and timely written and/or verbal correspondence. Evaluate work processes and work products, manage multiple projects and priorities, meet deadlines. Candidates must think strategically, plan ahead, and prioritize projects, adapt to changing priorities, take initiative and make decisions, and work effectively with executive leadership, internal and external customers. Candidates must have at least five years of experience. The preferred candidate will have experience with Adobe Premiere Pro non-linear, editing experience on Mac, experience with high definition video cameras and work flows, webcasting systems, and drone experience. In addition, applicants are encouraged to submit three video links demonstrating their videography and editing skills.
