Marketing Sales Coordinator
WSMV - TV, a Meredith Corporation TV Station, is currently seeking a dynamic Marketing Sales Coordinator(MSC) that can assist in the development, coordination, tracking, and implementation of various cross-platform marketing/sales initiatives throughout the year. The MSC will utilize marketing and research tools to help sales management and account executives generate materials that drive revenue and build/maintain the quality of the Meredith Nashville brands. The MSC works alongside account executives and sales management to assist and coordinate various activities throughout the sales process including proposal development, positioning of research, implementation of television and digital advertising campaigns as well as the monitoring and post reporting of campaign deliveries. The MSC works closely with account executives to ensure they can maximize their selling time by contributing to all phases of the client development, retention and service process. The MSC should have a general knowledge and understanding of B2B marketing.
Essential Job Functions
Assist account executives and sales managers with creative efforts to improve effectiveness of client presentations.
Utilize and understand multiple research and marketing tools to assist in creation of sales materials for account executives.
Provide strong support in developing proposals, data collection and crafting of narrative that supports the marketing and promotional objectives of clients.
Create sales presentations and maintain/update market position sheet.
Coordinate various media sales initiatives.
Develop, create, and write proposals for revenue generating marketing programs.
Track and report promotion/program results via recap presentations for account executives.
Proactively collaborate with entire sales team to ensure top-notch internal and external customer service.
Enter sales contracts/orders in a timely & accurate manner. Reviews current orders and makes revisions as required by AE’s or clients. Aids in the creation of pre/post logs as well as post-delivery reports of TV and Digital campaigns. Provide back up service to the production department in the commercial file downloading/uploading process as needed.
Book digital campaign contracts and creative files into the various interface portals. Monitor digital campaigns to ensure impression deliveries are met. Create post reporting of campaigns to deliver to clients.
Provide various administrative support to the department as needed. Other duties as needed and assigned by sales management.

Minimum two years’ experience in a marketing, promotional, research and/or B2B sales position in an environment with successful results in creating and developing multi-media/cross-platform campaigns.
Prior TV, Digital, Media or advertising agency experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Nielsen products, including Scarborough qualitative is also preferred.
Completion of high school or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and/or in cooperation with a team or group.
Ability to develop ideas and follow through with their completion.
Computer skills utilizing Microsoft software including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word is essential.
Advanced PowerPoint skills required.
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with station clients, the public, and other station departments.
Ability to organize and prioritize work activities and tasks handling multiple assignments, while meeting deadlines in an environment subject to constant change and interruptions.
