Fox 17/CW 58/MY TV 30 are looking for an experienced Promotions Coordinating Producer/Editor. Come live, work, and play in the Music City Nashville, TN market #28. We’re looking for a seasoned promotions person to assist the Creative Services Director and Promotions Manager with station(s) special projects, social media and more. This person will have the ability to coordinate logistics for many promotions department projects and events. Scheduling and booking on-air talent for outside events, charities, and shoots is a must. The Promotions Coordinating Producer will have a strong understanding of sales/promotional contesting. Experienced working with sales, marketing and legal. Assist the Creative Services Director and Promotions manager on station(s) special Projects.
Write/Produce & Edit station(s) promos, PSA’s, contesting spots and more when needed.
Coordinating and Scheduling, producers, on-air talent, and outside talent for promotional shoots and events.
Work with Sales, Marketing, and Legal to setup and build station contest materials.
Communicate with outside partners to schedule event setup and PSA shoots.
Work within traffic systems to fill station(s) promotional logs as needed.
Write, schedule, and post some station(s) social media material.
Create and maintain calendars, schedules for community events and special projects.
Oversee projects from conception to completion
Work occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays
Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must have 2 years television promotions experience
College degree preferred
Have extensive experience in Microsoft office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Have extensive Adobe Creative Suite experience including but not limited to; Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, and illustrator
Have experience using HD cameras including DSLR photography and video.
Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and can effectively interact with others.
Must have strong writing abilities for scripts, and sales/marketing materials.
Ability to routinely lift, carry, and move equipment in excess of 40 lbs.
