Job Title Promo Coordinator Job Description I. Job Summary | Major goals and objective Promo Coordinator will be responsible for managing and executing the daily log submission for each station and coordinating and maintaining the promo/PSA inventory. Position will also manage the event calendar for each market and will be responsible to communicate events, holidays, and important local historical dates to stations. Will also work with marketing team and buying agencies on all co-op submissions for syndicated programming and affiliated broadcast networks. II. Essential Job Functions Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results 50% Manage daily log submission for each station, log strategy and maintain the promo/PSA inventory. 20% Work with the master control hub to send spots into the system and ensure accurate spot delivery. 15% Manage the daily production calendars for MLM Creative AND Design groups plus the event calendar for each market. Will be responsible to communicate events, holidays, and important local historical dates to stations. 10% Work with marketing team and buying agencies on all co-op submissions for syndicated programming and affiliated broadcast networks. 5% Be proficient in the duties and responsibilities of other positions within MLM Creative Group 100% III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered. Education: High School diploma required. College or Associates degree in Broadcast Journalism, Digital Marketing, a comparable field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a television station promotion department or as a digital content producer required, experience writing and editing for television station a plus. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be proficient on Windows 10 platform including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Wide orbit platform preferred but not required.
