Join our News Team as a Photographer/Editor, Per Diem. Responsibilities: The Photographer/Editor is responsible for the operation of cameras, editing and microwave equipment used in electronic newsgathering. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in broadcasting or similar major required. Must know spot news, but have an eye for creative storytelling, as well. Ability to maneuver and operate a live truck required. Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment (50lbs) and work various shifts. Driver’s license required as position requires driving. Good communication skills, sound editorial judgment and familiarity with Chicago city streets a plus. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere a plus. Three to five years television news gathering, editing and microwave experience required. Must include a link to online reel with your resume!
