WGN-TV Chicago is looking for a Sales/Traffic Assistant. The Sales/Traffic Assistant will work closely with AE’s and is responsible for entering and confirming all new and revised orders, maintaining and organizing all client files, working closely with AE’s to handle all incoming requests for pre/post log times, makegood requests, and order confirmations. They will have additional responsibilities inside the Traffic department that will consist of material/copy assignment and other duties as they arise. The candidate will be cross trained in both departments. This position will be a liaison from Sales to Traffic and Operations. The ideal candidate must have a high level of organizational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. They must have strong communication skills, excel in problem solving and must be fluent in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience in Wide Orbit and its accompanied software is a plus.
