Sales Assistant (Regular, Full-Time) An employee in this classification, under the supervision of the VP/General Sales Manager (GSM), assists in inputting linear and nonlinear orders into wide orbit & dart systems. Track all sports impressions for linear and nonlinear; send out daily spot times; answer phones for GSM; manage travel budget for GSM, Local and National Sales Manager; maintain all pre-and post log times for all advertisers; maintain all wide orbit reports for GSM. Other duties as deemed appropriate and as assigned. Successful candidate must possess working knowledge of wide orbit sales and traffic system. Should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, in order to work well in a high pace environment within the sales department and with outside clients. Must have strong organizational and verbal communications skills. Ability to work under strict deadlines and work overtime when necessary. 4 year college degree in business or other related area highly preferred. Minimum three years experience in a sales administrative function. Must have a valid driver’s license. Job Code: 360 |
