This creative leader will work hand in hand with the Marketing Director, collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Content Manager to expand its rapidly-growing broadcast and digital media presence. The ideal candidate is an expert visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography and Adobe Creative Cloud editing programs who can lead a team to produce award-worthy and audience-motivating promotion. Exceptional organization and strategic thinking is required to implement market research recommendations and achieve goals in audience development and revenue growth. This individual is a hands-on producer, who also manages the production and trafficking of station image and daily news topical promotion, proof-of-performance promotion, outside media delivery, other station marketing-related productions, as well as providing assistance to client creative services projects as needed. This is a leadership role, managing a team of producers in the production of top-quality multiplatform creative and maintaining a position of teaching expertise on the latest production technology available to the department. Working with the Director of Marketing, the WAFB Promotions Manager oversees the writing and production of all WAFB 9 News advertising, as well as other station marketing projects. The Promotions Manager provides input on the stationís overall marketing strategy, including outside media planning and buying, budgets and employee training. Bachelorís Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Film/Video or other related field. Must provide creative reel demonstrating advanced knowledge of video production, especially Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and DSLR cinematography.
