WGRZ-TV is looking for a reporter who has a passion for what this business is supposed to be about; holding powerful accountable, being a voice for the voiceless, and providing real help to our community. We believe in strong journalism where you aggressively pursue the truth, and tell compelling, memorable stories. This is not a job for someone who simply enjoys doing feature stories; we’re looking for the journalist who wants to be the lead story every night.
The ability to tell a complicated story simply and clearly on-air is essential. A strong understanding of reporting for multiple platforms, including on-air and on-line is needed. A college degree and at least 3 years of experience is preferred.
