Content Coordinator, KNXV/KASW
Do you love video editing and managing various forms of content? Then come join the exciting world of television. KNXV/KASW, Phoenix’s ABC and CW affiliates, are seeking a Content Coordinator. This position manages, edits, and tracks incoming and outgoing video content for multiple platforms.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
o Monitor, communicate, and traffic all incoming content.
o Collaborate with newsroom staff to achieve editorial objectives.
o Identify issues with incoming content, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions.
o Maintenance storage and capacity of SAN.
o Edit video content for use on multiple platforms.
o Responsible for operating various news gathering equipment; including but not limited to video editing equipment.
o Working knowledge of the multitude of paths by which content is imported and exported.
o Communicate consistently with newsroom staff regarding content, including but not limited to coordinating with field crews.
o Distribution of content to other Scripps units.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
o Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.
o 5 - 8 years of experience in related field.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
o Strong written and oral communication skills.
o Effective delegation and problem resolution skills.
o Detail-oriented, organized, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
o Proficiency computer-based editing, Final Cut Pro.
